How much will I work?

This is very flexible – it could be just a few days, live-out per week throughout the holiday or 5 days live-in every week of the holiday, it’s up to you and the family.

What am I expected to do?

An average day would include preparing simple meals for the children and entertaining them in varied and interesting ways which they would enjoy, e.g. tennis, cricket, nature walks, arts and crafts, reading, cooking etc.

Will I be on my own with the children?

You will be expected to take “sole charge” the majority of the time; however you are predominantly employed as “an extra pair of hands” so you will be treated as a member of the family.

What if I don’t think I’m matched to the family?

We endeavour to match Just Holiday Nannies and families very carefully through our comprehensive selection process. You will have the opportunity to meet the family at an interview. However, if there are any problems we will attempt to resolve them immediately.
